Thanks

We have existed as a B&B since 2009. But before that, there was a dream. That of a little girl, who now, as an adult, feels the need to thank those who made the dream come true. So the list begins with Alba and Nicola, (Mutty and Papone).

I thank with great emotion, after fifteen years, all those who, for some obscure reason, throughout the spring of 2009, spent hours of their free time assembling furniture, chandeliers, painting, taking measurements, making holes in the wall, planning new purchases and new furniture and new holes in the wall. And all these people of different ages, with different attitudes, shared their time to help a friend realize her dream. Slowly they “dressed” the house with colors, filled it with voices, laughter, food smells, and sweat. At the end of the day, they watched the dream take shape and come to life. Satisfied like children after a race.

But we never stopped. I continue to grow my “Child”, Ca’ Bianca. And since 2009, the list has grown long, so I’ll start.

The list is in no particular order:
Boy Afraid, Sandrone, Sicario N°1/2, Calibro 9, Bucci, Nino, Mariolo, Tamtam, the super Aunt Elsa, and the super Zizì, Elvi, Marcelluzza, Luciano, Marcello, Antonello known as Judas, Simonetta the girlfriend, Danilo, Anakino Skywalker, ‘Nucci, Giuliano, Lanzarduck, Sandrina, Luisa Tesoro, Nadiuzza and Giulio, Loredania and Umbertide, The Sisters and their in-laws, Mariella QUGGY and Quggy Tonino, as well as Vincibello Super Teppa and my Irenuccia, Barby, Manny, and Picapica, San Agostino, “Naked and Raw”, Iris the Painter, basketball friends turned lumberjacks, the Theatres of the wind and their breeze, friends who walk slowly with their donkeys and a dog, my dear Rosi and Renato, the sex and the city of us others, and the “dick turtles” and, last but not least, Mr. Mott…

I also thank those who, often unknowingly, have given me food for thought and helped me grow.

Special Thanks

For the trust shown, for the tangible help, a special thanks to Stefano and Michela.

Staff

Bianca is the “Head and Tail” of Ca’ Bianca.
Always performance-anxious but seemingly “zen.” Always attentive and professional, she will make you feel welcome as if at a friend’s house.

Aunt Sondra, nicknamed “Zizì”.
She’s our dear aunt who, always with kindness and plenty of humor, with her watchful eye, oversees and directs us all, two-legged and four-legged alike, turning our work into that of a close-knit and harmonious team.

Maria Grazia, nicknamed “Cosima”.
A new member of the staff, she has seamlessly integrated from the start. She has an exceptionally kind character and is always available and smiling. We were fortunate because she is a very valuable collaborator!

Lorenzo, despite having his job outside the B&B, in his role as a “partner,” is an indispensable element for the computer work and is a fundamental presence for Bianca’s mental well-being.

Nina, nicknamed “the super beauty,” is the very young golden retriever gifted by Carmine, our first canine love. She is our PR, playful and very sweet.

Mimì, the “big panther,” is our black “dog-cat,” part of the staff for more than a decade, overseeing all of us comfortably lounging on the couch.
